Academies
Glencliff is one of twelve high schools that make up the Academies of Nashville. Students have a choice of different academies offering a practical, hands-on approach to learning in fields that interest them. The Academies empower students through career exposure so they can make timely, informed decisions and discover their true passions while earning early college credit and nationally recognized industry certifications.
Basic Information for all Academies

Each Academy houses different pathways. When you select a pathway, you will take a Career and Technical Education (CTE) course along with your other core classes.
-
After you have chosen an Academy, you will have a counselor, dean and principal that will help you while you are here at Glencliff.
- Once you have selected an academy, you will remain in it from tenth to twelfth grade.
