Meeting the Needs of Students and Families

The Glencliff Family Resource Center is open to all families of students in the Glencliff cluster and community members.

The resource center has clothes, household items, hygiene products, baby products, and food available for individuals and/or families to pick up. The FRC Coordinator is available during school hours to assist students with needs and meet with parents to offer social services.

The FRC Coordinator meets with all low-income students and families to help find the needs at home in order to support the success of the student at school.

The FRC Coordinator always accepts donations of clothes, household items, snacks, gift cards (gas, grocery, etc.), and hygiene products!

Records Requests and Transcripts

Our Records Office handles records requests at Glencliff for the current school year and 3 school years previous. For requests that are past this time, please contact the MNPS District Records Center at 615-259-4636.

If you need a transcript, please go online to order a transcript. If you are a school or other institution, please email the Records Secretary to send an official request for records.

A Safe and Calm Space for Students and Staff

The Restorative Center is a safe and calming space where students and staff can come to de-escalate, resolve conflict, and build relationships. This space also helps to support the mental health and emotional needs of students and staff.

When a student is brought to the Restorative Center through a Dean or Counselor, the student can de-escalate by using any of the strategic resources in the room (i.e. the sand box, punching bag, or fidget toys). Once de-escalated, Ms. Ayres utilizes restorative questions with the student to address the issue at hand. The two work to understand what happened, who has been impacted, and what needs to happen to repair the harm and move forward positively.

If you would like to get in contact with one of our school social workers please leave a note on the student information form you will complete or ask you school counselor.

Haley Griffin

"My name is Haley Griffin, and I am one of your school social workers for the school year! I’m excited about the opportunity to get to know you! I work with students to provide counseling and assistance with resources. I am originally from Knoxville, Tennessee where I attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville to receive my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I then moved to Nashville to attend the University of Tennessee, Nashville to receive my Master’s degree in Social Work. I was the full time school social worker at Wright Middle for six years before coming to Glencliff High. In my free time, I love traveling with my husband, all kinds of sports (but especially hockey- Go Preds!) and spending time with my dog, Adah. Welcome to GHS!"

Paige Benda

"Hi my name is Paige Benda, and I am one of the school social workers at GHS. I grew up in a small town in South Carolina. I moved to Nashville to play on the women’s soccer team at Lipscomb University where I received my Bachelor’s in Psychology. I then went on to receive my Master’s in Social Work at the University of Tennessee. I enjoy all things sports, hanging with my golden retriever puppy, Oakley, and trying new foods and restaurants."

Students Taking A Right Stand

STARS is a comprehensive, school-based, student assistance program. I tackle the tough problems students face including substance use, teen pregnancy, school violence/bullying, academic failure, school suspensions, and dropout.
